Our goal is to help nervous beginners, international drivers, and adults returning to driving build confidence and safe driving habits with professional instruction.

Private Adult Driving Lessons
North Shore Driving School offers private adult driving instruction to adults over the age of 18 in the North Shore communities of Milwaukee, Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Glendale, Fox Point, Bayside, Mequon, and Thiensville. Lessons are scheduled one‑on‑one so you receive the instructor’s full attention.
Each adult lesson provides a full 60 minutes of in‑car instruction focused on your goals, such as basic vehicle control, city driving, parking, freeway driving, or road test preparation.

In‑Car Training with Licensed Instructors
Adult lessons take place in our fully insured, dual‑controlled training cars with a Wisconsin state‑licensed driving instructor. Your instructor will guide you through real‑world driving situations while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
We can customize lessons to match your experience level, whether you are driving for the first time, improving after a permit, or preparing for a Wisconsin road test.
Patient, Professional Instructors
North Shore Driving School features both male and female driving instructors, all licensed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Nervous adult beginners are our specialty, and our instructors are patient, courteous, and focused on safety.
Lessons are available seven days a week, subject to instructor availability, to help fit busy adult schedules.

Use Our Car for Your State Road Test
Adults 18 and over may be able to use a North Shore Driving School training car for their Wisconsin state road test, subject to availability and scheduling. Many adult students find it helpful to test in the same style of vehicle they have been using for lessons.
We can also help adults with questions about obtaining a Wisconsin Temporary Instruction Permit and preparing for the knowledge and road tests.
